115 Volt, Single Phase Portable Air Conditioners
The most common portable air conditioner, also known as a spot cooler, is the 115 Volt AC one ton model. Most customers use portable air conditioners whenever they have a short-term need to cool a space while their primary air conditioner is being repaired or it is extremely hot in an area. That is where 1st Cooling comes in! Portable air conditioners provide effective climate control for areas where conventional air conditioners won't work or are being repaired. The portable air conditioners, also known in the industry as "spot coolers", also dehumidify the air. The moisture is called condensate and is usually drained into a container inside the air conditioner.

One Ton portable air conditioners provide emergency cooling, spot cooling, or supplemental cooling where and when you need it. Our air-cooled units provide cold air indoors and the hot condenser exhaust air is exhausted through ducting accessories. Typically the hot air exhausts through the ceiling plenum (the space above the suspended or drop ceiling tiles) through a 12-inch piece of flexible duct and a standard 2-foot by 2-foot ceiling tile. The units can also be used outdoors for spot cooling your party or special event.
